#1 Where can I find out about the National Cycle Network and my nearest routes?

Use our online mapping at www.sustrans.org.uk to find your nearest routes – just enter your postcode, a town name, region or, if you know it, the route you’re interested in.

Or, download a copy of our 2010 National Cycle Network map illustrating routes throughout the UK (PDF, 1Mb). 

#2 How do I upload my film to YouTube?

If you don’t already have an account on YouTube you need to register at http://www.youtube.com/create_account. It’s free and only takes two minutes.

When you upload your video to YouTube it will be assigned a unique URL. Save the URL and insert it in the online entry form.

Remember to tag you clip with myncn, this is how we'll find your film on YouTube. To add the Tag, go to Video Information and add myncn.

#3 How do I make a short video?

You can find lots of tips on how to make a movie on the Internet or YouTube itself. The BBC also offers lots of helpful advice on their website.

#4 Is there a flyer I can use to publicise the competition?

Download our A5 flyer to let people know about the competition and the prizes.

We also have an eye-catching poster. Print it out at A4 or A3 size and pin it up where everyone can see it.

#5 When will the judging take place and will the winners be announced?

The competition closing date has been extended to midnight on 30 November 2010. If you submitted an entry before the original closing date of 30 September we would like to reassure you that your entry to the competition remains completely valid. After the closing date, a short-list will be made and the entrants on the short-list will be notified. The winners will be announced no later than 31 December 2010 - date tbc.
