The Rules

Our competition rules are straightforward and designed to give you maximum freedom to interpret the ‘My National Cycle Network’ theme in any way you choose.

You can present your ideas as a documentary or drama, a rap or a report, a silent movie or with your own original sound track – it’s up to you.

These are the things our judges will be looking out for:

How well you tell us about your National Cycle Network and how easy your story is to follow. Is your film inspiring and will it encourage others to use the Network? Have you come up with a creative idea and does your film show originality in its content and format? Is your film entertaining and does it make us watch from beginning to end? How well do you use sound, lighting and imagery? Finally, our judges will be keeping an eye out for those small, maybe odd bits and pieces that particularly appeal to them and their sensibilities.
